Luna took off her headset when she entered the hangar and the first thing she saw was the Ganonia which reminded her that she never checked how much money was left in Cicero's wallet.

She reached into her pocket and pulled out Cicero's wallet and found $1.55. Luna paused for a moment before putting the wallet back into her pocket and commented with a smile "He'll be fine".

At that moment the man who was standing in front of the Ganonia waved at her...And also got her title wrong...

"That's Fabulous Ex-Captain Luna!" Luna screamed at Ed, as she placed her hands around her hip. "Is it really too much to ask to get someone's title right? I swear Fatty's the only guy who get's it..." She complained as she looked in the direction he was pointing at and found her mobile weapon.

At that moment the world from Luna's eyes turned bright and bubbly. The sight of the Brasta brought a tear into her eye.

"My baby booooooy!" Luna shouted as she charged towards her Brasta completely ignoring Ed and gave the Brasta's face a big hug. "Mommy missed you! Yes she did~" Luna said before she dropped down to it's chest and entered the cockpit

She sat down on the pilot's seat with a satisfied smile on her face and placed her hands on the controls and paddles.

"Home sweet home~" Luna said with a satisfied look on her face.

A series of loud clacks followed by a whir announced the moving of one of the berths. The alcove of the (as yet) smallest of the assembled machines began to slide back and to rotate, ferrying it over to the launch deck. Once placed in alignment the platform rose toward the dorsal hatch, the void awaiting on the other side. All the while, the machine remained perched as it had been - both palms out and upward facing, a shishioh blade laid across them.

It was only as it rose, as the light panels from the transit tube washed past the busily-changing pilot in sequence, that life seemed to return to its form. Its lit, its monitors powered up and filled with the information feed coming from the Hiryu. Sayuri was just managing to get herself zipped up when a great THUNK punctuated their arrival outside the ship. Her hands wrapped around the control sticks, and the VanGray's hand soon gripped the hilt of the sword, lest it go floating away. From its back, the innermost binder panels split open, and an empty sheath tilted out from one. Returning the blade to its housing, the machine snapped its binders closed again, and took up a waiting rifle in each hand.

Across the commlines came the half-hearted voice going through the heroic vocal motions.

"Sayuri Shimizu~. VanGray~! Launching~!"

As the hangar burst to life so too did Nick's new machine. It grabbed the massive blade as it stepped into launch deck. One too modern to assist the massive machine, instead the ancient machine almost had to bow to activate the thrusters on its back. But when it finally activated them, it quickly picked up speed, accelerating to the sweet embrace of space.

From the outside one looking into the launch tunnel of the Shinryu the only thing one would see for a moment was one pair of glowing green eyes, then another set lit up before the back of the machine would be illuminated by the thrusters activating.

A silhouette would be illuminated, one which might just as well have been taken from Admiral Benton's nightmares. A dreaded machine for any who opposed colonial freedom as it served as a callback to the war the admiral himself had said was still ongoing. It was as if the machine itself had heard that the war was not over and reentered the battlefield of its own volition. But this machine had a name, one certainly etched into the mind of any colonist who desired freedom.

The Valsion.

Here it was, what some would call a grim reminder floated in Directory space looking exactly the same as it was the day it was originally made, not one dent or imperfection was visible on the mech. A divine blade in one hand almost as tall as itself which it promptly pointed into the direction of the Directory forces as the pilot within opened a comms line.

"Stand aside. We only wish to go to L4 as we were told to do and save the people in danger there. This is the one and only warning I will give. Because if you will not listen to reason you will have to listen to force."

With that he muted his microphone and awaited any reaction from the opposing side. Perhaps this would fuel the paranoia of the Admiral. Nick wouldn't know, he hadn't heard the conversation on the bridge to begin with. But even if he knew he didn't care if the man who would've sent countless innocents to their deaths was popping a vein over seeing this machine.

Because the two of them had one thing in common. Both refused to let that war end.
Another Mallor was now behind the controls of the Valsion confronting the Directory at L2. It was as if history was making a cruel joke. The field where his predecessor failed would be his first and instead of heading deeper into Directory territory he was now heading out.
But Nick would not allow history to fully repeat. This time they would prevail against the Directory to rekindle that fire in the hearts of spacenoids.

"A-Admiral!"
"What is it?"
"Valsion! Valsion is here!"

Sure enough, the imposing form of the Valsion was brought onscreen. A chorus of cries and gasps filled the bridge, and Admiral Benton himself gripped his artificial arm, eyes wide with alarm. It glowered at them from the monitor, four horrible green eyes, like those of a demon from the pits of Hell, clad in armor wrought of twisted metal flame, just as it had once before, in times long past.

Valsion.

The "Ultimate Robot".

Symbol of the Colonial resistance, the image of that machine standing atop piles of scrap that had once been enemies, the banner of the Colonies clasped defiantly in its hands - had been burned into the collective consciousness of the Directory. While it had been beaten... It was never bowed, and that fact alone rendered it more dangerous than anything else. Ever since then, even its likeness had been banned across all forms of media, so poignant was the memory of the destruction and devastation it had wreaked.

Suddenly, Benton became aware that two dozen scared pairs of eyes were upon him, snapping him from his recollections. He raised a fist in their direction, his voice rising as he fought to bring the situation back under control.

"Bring it down! All Mobile Weapons, scramble! All gunners, fire at will!"

Galvanized into action, the bridge personnel leapt into action as best as they could, hurrying about to carry out the orders - and Benton himself sank into his command chair, a cold sweat forming on his forehead as he dared to contemplate the figure before him once more.

"Cicero... What have you done...?"

Meanwhile, on the bridge of the Shinryu, Alan Cicero watched events unfold, hands folded behind his back from his position on the bridge, as Harris barked out commands. He could only imagine the terror that was spreading at this very moment among the Directory ranks... And it brought him no small degree of satisfaction to see the Valsion's triumphant return was having every bit as much of an impact as he had dreamed, as a collective gasp of awe went up from the Colonists themselves.

Not for nothing had he spent years painstakingly recreating the "Nightmare of Terra Firma", in all its monstrous glory, waiting - waiting ever so patiently for the day where he could set his plans in motion.

"Do you like it, Admiral?" He said, under his breath;

"When putting out fires... You should always take care to address embers."

A slow smirk crawled up the corner of his face - the one of a man who has been bluffing all night, and only now had laid his winning hand on the table.

"Lest the flames roar again... and consume you, in your slumber."

***

Meanwhile in the hangar, techs and engineers scurried out of the way as the hulking form of the Ganonia leaned forward, fuel lines being hurriedly disconnected as it was moved onto the catapult, gripping its oversized cannon-rifle close to its chest as its eyes glowed, coming to life. Within the cockpit, Eduardo Casker tried to distance his mind from the antics of... "Fabulous Ex-Captain Luna". Cicero (Or... Fatty, as she seemed to know him) seemed quite taken with the young woman, despite his clumsy denials, but he himself had quietly decided to keep things as professional as possible... God only knew, he thought, what a woman like that could drag him into.

"This is Ed. Ganonia, taking off - Everyone, clear a path!"

With a roar of its massive, thigh-mounted main thrusters, the second-largest machine cannoned out of the hangar after the Vangray. It pulled up alongside the more diminutive machine, turning its pointy-eared head in Sayuri's direction, as Ed regarded the mercenary. She seemed, he thought, a curious sort -a woman who was full of contradictions - at once materialistic and bubbly, yet the professional in him recognized her talent as something that was the work of countless hours of meditation and dedication.

"Miss Shimizu," He said over the communications link; "Miss Luna and I will be providing ranged support. Please, be careful."

His HUD beeped a warning, causing Ed to glance up, saying flatly as he did:

"Here they come."

Ahead, tail flares lit up around the looming Albatross Class, even as its main guns lit up its verdant hull in a bright yellow glow. Four groups of five Huckebein Mk-IIs, colored the off-tan-and-white of the Directory standard, had quickly formed into formations, and were approaching the Shinryu, most likely planning to intercept it before it could completely separate from the dock.

Blasts from the Albatross's main guns hammered into the dock surrounding the Hiryu - but seemed to do little to the actual ship itself, seeming more a reaction shot to the presence of the Valsion than anything else, leaving the ship's compliment of mobile weapons free to mount a counter-attack...

The Brasta then stood on the catapult. Luna leaned back and let out a sigh "Ranged support...Hmm" she crossed her arms.

"Alright!" she said grabbing her controls and switched the EAGLE into sniper mode. The Brasta then leaned forward preparing itself for launch.

"Fabulous Ex-Captain Luna Stadfield! Brasta!" Luna shouted as her mobile weapons thrusters lit up. A wide grin formed on Luna's face as she heard the familiar sounds of her old mobile weapon. "Launch!" she shouted and the Brasta's green eyes flashed before it launched.

The Brasta quickly flew out the hangar at high-speed and flew upwards. Luna made the Brasta spin as she ascended avoiding the Albatross's incoming gunfire before coming to a stop.

"Never fear! For Fabulous Ex-Captain Luna has arrived on to the battlefield!" Luna declared as she made the Brasta do a magical girl pose.

Luna took a look at the enemy battleship and then the Huckbeins. Luna quickly took aim at one of the Huckbein groups and fired 2 shots before quickly positioning herself behind the Valsion

The VanGray cruised at a speed relatively steady to its launch velocity, coasting forward in no particularly great hurry. The other machines exited the hanger in sequence behind her, each adopting a place and a pose befitting their temperment. Her eyes turned larboard, regarding them each in kind. The first and most prominent was naturally the Valsion - a colossus created to inspire, and labored under the weight of colonial hopes and dreams. Aspirations! Expecations! And also the weight of its sheer bulk, too. It could move just fine, sure, of that she had no doubt. But somewhere in her brain she simply rolled her eyes at the very concept of it. Oh well. It made for a nice, wide, irresistable target, and that suited her just fine.

Presently its younger brother made effort to catch up to her and match speed. This one was little better on overwrought scale, it seemed to her. The both of them felt less like fighter craft and more like battleships given arms and legs. If Valsion was the brash and brassy show-off of an elder brother, though, the Ganonia was the more down-to-earth younger sibling. More of one in relativity, anyway. The last behind her was more her speed, if not her exact taste. More mobile, more compact, and still highly versatile. The Brasta would do in a pinch, and she could dig its style. She had to ponder, though, the wisdom of constantly declaring oneself a former captain. No matter - she was going to park at the back line for now it seemed, and thus was of no concern.

No, this whole business of grandstanding as big damn heroes of the huddled masses... it was quaint. It was cute. It was a little gauche.

Thankfully she wouldn't be dependant on them for entertainment anyway. Her eyes danced over the dozen or more flickers of light in the distance. As her gaze lingered, the main screen spawned an inset with a closer view on an individual squad. The system readily identified the model as something... well, honestly a bit more plebian if truth be told. But there were still plenty of them at least. Enough to make a game of it, even! Her lips drew in a modestly bemused smirk.

"Forth come twenty blackbirds... I guess I can make pie~" she cooed, one hand slipping over to a control pane.

"Be a dear and chart me a course," she mused to the machine a moment later. As requested, a series of area charts popped up on screen one by one, each calculating a route through the twent some machines making haste toward them. Each new pane played this game of dot-to-dot its own unique method, only to vanish again shortly thereafter. One by one they ticked past, conjuring visions of how to loop all the holes with one thread. The more that went by, the more they drew her lips into a broad smirk. This would be... fun.

With a chortle, her foot pivoted a pedal, and the sizable nozzle on the back of the VanGray flared to life, its flames mounting higher and higher. All at once, the light, tiny, nimble craft went streatking forward, hurtling at the Huckebeins with abandon. And once she had closd the gap, with the outermost cluster of blackbirds? The rifles in each hand flared to life, spitting fire as swift as lightning their way.

It seemed the only way through was by force. As much as Nick enjoyed breaking Directory machines he still felt there were more important things to tend to right now. In this case however there was little choice in the matter. The sword arm returned to a neutral position, simply holding the blade in front of it. The other arm was arguably more of a danger right now as it extended forward.

The shield on it split open at the bottom, a small opening now visible. As the Valsion clenched its fist a flash of light came from within, followed by purple ball of energy forming above the hand.

Anyone who knew the Valsion would recognize this attack, the Cross Smasher, and they would know to not get struck by it. The purple beam shot out, shortly followed by a red and a blue beam dancing around it as if they were its DNA. Their target was the main cannon of the Albatross class, alongside any collateral damage striking that area of the ship would bring with it.

Should the beam collide it would push against the metal for a few seconds, ripping it clean off should it not provide enough resistance against the energy volley. Regardless of whether or not the metal withstood the beam there would be an explosion one that Nick would not wait for.

When the laser stopped, the shield closed itself again and the Valsion would begin its advance forwards, an eye being kept on the unit behind it by Nick.

"What kind of machine is that?"
"Some no-name Colonist junkheap, no doubt. Scrap it!"

The first squad of Huckebeins closed in on the Vangray - but before they could even raise their weapons, the smaller machine was among them, darting and pirouetting through their ranks like Hell's ballerina. Her shots found purchase, two of the rifles punching into the chests of the lead Huckebeins, causing them to go up in a pair of pink-tinted explosions. The remaining three in the group scattered in confusion, seemingly surprised at the firepower the small machine was carrying - only to be met with a pair of thundering blue bolts that vaporized two more, as - true to his word - Ed's Ganonia picked them off from a distance.

Undeterred, the remaining machine threw aside its Photon Rifle, Roche Saber flickering to life in its grasp as it charge the Vangray, swinging the energy blade over its head in a vicious slice aimed to cease the machine's movement once and for all.

At last, the Shinryu managed to pull free of the pulverized dry docks. Compared to its prior form, it was all elegance - and its form now matched its name, the barrel of a massive Super Gravity Shock Cannon on its bow, and sweeping crimson wing stabilizers the most prominent additions. On the bridge, Harris was in her element, surveying the map of the battlefield, while calling out commands in a clear, confident voice that inspired those who heard it to quicken their pace.

"VLS tubes eight through sixteen, provide supporting fire for the Brasta! Main batteries, target the engines of the Wyvern!"

At the Trainee-Captain's command, several hatches at the top of the ship snapped open - before dispensing a tidal wave of silver, pointed missiles, which lanced out to rain down on the group of Huckebeins that had split off from the main group to target Luna. The hail of explosives lit up the void, swallowing one Huckebein in a rain of devastation, with a second being cut down by fire from Luna's EAGLE as they attempted to outrun the missiles - but the rest pressed forward, all three now firing on Luna with their Photon Rifles as they closed ranks with the DM Buster.

"All hands, brace for impact!"

Meanwhile, the entire Albatross Class rocked as the Cross Smasher beam sliced into its flank, tearing a brilliant scar all across its main batteries. The return fire from the Hiryu joined the barrage as well, smashing into the underside of the ship, tearing great holes in its vast bulk… but it wasn't down quite yet. On the Wyvern's bridge, Admiral Benton grit his teeth as warning alarms went off across the station, the ship's crew hurrying to contain the damage caused.

"Sub-Vessels, launch! Bring down the Valsion!"

The four massive structures that bordered the corners of the Albatross Class suddenly shifted... And then broke free. To the casual observer, they appeared to almost be little more than fuel tanks - but as they detached, small bridge units rose from concealed panels on their backs, and yellow barrels were exposed along their noses. The four sub-vessels - each one easily enough to classify as a battleship in and of itself - angled themselves slightly...

And then, as one, unleashed a massive torrent of fire upon the Ultimate Robot, a constant drumbeat of firepower that could pulverize a Colony in mere minutes - but, was it enough? Apparently not, in the Directory's summation - as the remaining ten Huckebeins joined it, forming up in twin formations of five, bringing their Rectangular Launchers to bear as they fired off a hail of artillery fire to join the ship's salvos - all of it directed at the revived monster of the past, the Valsion.

Luna couldn't help but admire at how good looking the Valsion was. "Hey big guy!" She contacted Nick through her radio. "I don't know you but your robot looks awesome! Can we talk design details?"

Dodging a shot fired from the Huckbeins while she was distracted, Luna turned her attention towards them. Luna never liked Huckbeins at all. For some reason every time she sees one it sends a shiver down her spine. Not that it affected her combat ability in anyway.

"I hate Huckbeins..." Luna commented as she made the Brasta avoid the incoming fire with little to no effort. During which Luna quickly removed the sniper extension from the EAGLE and switched the magazine.

"Special delivery!" Luna said as she fired 3 cylinders at the Huckbeins before switching the EAGLE back into sniper mode and changed it's magazine to live ammo. And started firing at the incoming Huckbeins. Mostly to draw them closer together for the nets within the cylinders to capture them.

"I would love to, but it will have to wait until after this battle." the spacenoid answered to Luna, he very much liked to talk design details but doing so in the middle of a battle was ill advised, especially with a veritable firing line ready to take him down.

Nick readied himself for the G forces he was about to endure, the Valsion raised its weapon before making a downwards slash at nothing but the back of it seemed to be shaking under its own force, power contained within waiting to be released. This nightmare turned real moved forwards at a speed that seemed too fast for something this size the thruster on the back finally being able to release its force to push the mythical machine forwards and its pilot into his chair.

Using its incredible forwards momentum the revolutionary angled his steed to dive above the Albatross' fire, its perfect paint would be tarnished by a pair of Rectangular launchers yet it would not slow the Valsion down, it just kept going until it soared over the defensive lines of huckebeins, in turn placing itself between them and the Wyvern.

Yet, it did not come crashing down on the ship with its sword, instead it slowed down. A second of silence, inside the cockpit of the Nightmare of Terra Firma a comms channel was opened and a button was flipped. Hailing the two 'tails' of the Valsion to bend downwards. Warning lights everywhere would indicate that the Valsion was now at the heart of a small gravity anomaly.

"Face it Admiral you buried the past, our past, and it is now here to hound you. You could have let us go to save L4 but instead you chose to try to stop us so today I will do what my grandfather could not all those years ago."

As he talked the Valsion spread its arms and legs and its eyes shut off removing the green light from the machine's dace, dark energy coalescing between the 'tails' as the warnings from earlier got worse and worse and in the stillness of space the one thing that should be impossible to be present began to take form. Wind.

A wind, rotating in a near perfect sphere centered around this mech from decades past, drawing anything close to it closer, rotating them around the unit seemingly uncaring about weight or size as it began to drag at anything and everything even remotely nearby the red and yellow monster. What could be best described as lightning bolts began to strike from the ball of energy formed behind the Valsion yet even in this turmoil the machine remained perfectly still and unharmed.

"Today you will get what you deserve. Be that a swift death or a shameful retreat. Whichever it will be will be decided with this attack. I am sure you know by now what is happening and that you cannot escape its grasp. So allow me to confirm your fears with these words. MEGA. GRAVITON. WAVE!"

The eyes shot back to life, energy forming at the Valsion's chest as it looked upwards, the machine that Admiral Benton likely equaled to a demon now holding a pose akin to that of an angel descending from the heavens. Four final thunderbolts appeared, each reaching out to a different corner of this sphere of death and not even a second after blinding light would erupt from the nightmare itself.

It pushed outwards the blast taking each unit caught in the sphere with it as if it was a solid object, from the outside it would appear as if a star had just been created, and was already near to its own supernova. Once the blast reached the boundary of the gravity well a shock wave rang through the explosion. Blinding light enveloped all within its grasp as this shock wave set off a final detonation, turning the small star into a very large explosion that tore away at any solid object within its reach.

And yet at the heart of it all, once the blast was gone and faded, the Valsion still remained with not a scratch of damage extra inflicted upon it now returned to its neutral pose it took a moment to survey the destruction it had wrought.

As the battle raged, the Ganonia hurtled forward, head turning this way and that as it weaved between fire. In the cockpit, Ed grimaced, trying to keep track of the signal in front of him, emitted from the Vangray as he returned fire.

"Shimizu, you're going too far out. Hey! Can you hear me?"

...And then she was gone. He muttered a curse, and began to pull the heavy machine back towards where Luna's Brasta was under pressure. The Brasta's fire struck into the chest of two of the offending mass production machines, detonating them in small explosions - the rest began to close in... But suddenly halted, their forms seized by... Some terrible force, pulsating outward across the battlefield.

And yet... The actions of Nick made them almost purposeless, as the true power of the Ultimate Robot was brought to bear on those that had long sought to stamp it out from the world. Many technologies had been appropriated from the Colonists since the revolution, but the Valsion, despite its immense power, had been purposefully left to rot, the blood spilled by its legendary massacres too much for even the Directory to consider repurposing. Such ghouls were best left in their graves... Until now. Space began to warp and bend about the red machine, as its dreaded Gravicon Controller came online, its fins extending, all light being drawn towards it, making it appear like a dark red star of the apocalypse.

As the waves from the machine spread out across the battlefield, It was as if a strong wind seized everything it touched, and the Huckebeins first shuddered, their fusion thrusters fluttering in the dark as they fought the force suddenly impressing itself upon them - but it was all in vain, as one by one, they were swept up in the gravity wave as it intensified, dragged screaming towards the Valsion, forced to orbit it at increasingly high speeds, dimensional lightning crackling all around them as a hellish storm, the likes of which hadn't been seen in over fifty years, brewed in the cosmos.

The wave washed over the Albatross, its primary target, and the warship's main cannons blazed a response up at the red machine, even as it too fought the dark storm that descended on it. One by one, its batteries went silent, as the graviton compacted them, flattening them against the hull, as if a massive hand were curling around its form. On the bridge, Admiral Benton called out orders, even as cries of chaos went up all around him, the ship groaning and shifting dangerously under his very feet.

"What are you doing?! Engage emergency thrusters!"

"Too late! We-we're caught in the gravity well!"

The ceiling of the command center caved first - and cries of fear began to ring out all around the Colonel as the lights began to go out, the very walls themselves starting to close in as the ship began to crumple, like a paper cutout in the palm of a furious child. Even so, he couldn't take his eyes off those eyes - those horrible, green eyes that were those of the Devil himself, concentrated at the heart of the storm, staring down at all of them - judging them, and now crushing them under the weight of their sin.

"N-Not like this!" He whispered, as the bridge finally fell into darkness;

"Not to Valsion-! Guaaaaaaagh!"

With a horrific screech, the Albatross vanished as the massive blast of energy erupted from the Valsion, a miniature supernova that was visible all the way from the most distant Colony of L2, illuminating the entire cluster as it swallowed the flagship entirely. When the dust cleared... Not even scraps remained. Almost every single Huckebein had been sucked into the vortex... And summarily destroyed. Those that remained turned tail and fled, screaming - the power of the Colonist's symbol now burned into their minds forevermore.

As quickly as it had begun, the battle of L2 was over.

Aboard the bridge of the Shinryu, Harris closed her eyes, and looked away from the carnage... And Alan Cicero slowly clapped his hands, a satisfied smile playing on his features.

"The torch of insurretion blazes anew." He said, under his breath.

"Now then... How will you respond?

...Chairman Hammar."

Detaching the sniper extention from the EAGLE. Lune equipped the Bayonet Spiker and prepared to charge at the incoming Huckbeins.

But as the the Spiker extended from the EAGLE Luna noticed that the Huckbeins had stopped moving. Confused she tapped her screen a few times thinking that there might be something wrong with it.

"Ok... Why'd they stop?" Luna asked tilting her head before her cockpit started to rattle and shake. "Huh?" Luna muttered looking around her cockpit. It was as if she was experiencing an earthquake...In space...

"Since when did space have earthquakes" Luna said as she tiled the head of her mobile weapon left and right and found the answer she was looking for when she turned towards the direction where the Valsion was and saw a bright light slowly swallow the enemy battle ships and mobile weapons while some tried their best to escape with their tail between their legs. And for the first time in her life she was left speechless.

A few moments later the star died down and she saw the Valsion standing tall with hardly any damage. Luna stared at the red mobile weapon for almost a full minute before her eyes started to fill with excitement.

"That was....AWESOME!!" Luna shouted as she fired the Brasta's thrusters at full power and charged towards the Valsion.

Once she reached the Valsion she stopped in front of it and contacted it's pilot. "Big guy! Big guy! That was so freaking awesome!!" Luna started to gush, her eyes and voice filled with excitement.

"You were like boom! And they were like ahhh!" Luna started to make her mobile weapon reenact what she saw with many over-exaggerated poses added to the mix.

"What was that move called again?" Luna tried to remember what the Valsion pilot shouted just before the space quake. "Oh yeah" Luna finally recalled what he said.

"MEGA GRAVITON WAVE!" Luna shouted at the top of her voice as she made the Brasta do the same pose the Valsion was in.

A few minute later...

"Oh yeah that reminds me!" Luna finally stopped the Brasta from doing any more poses and turned towards the Valsion again.

"I'm the Fabulous Ex-Captain Luna! But you can call me Luna!" Luna introduced herself.

"What's yours?" Luna asked as she eagerly awaited for the pilot's response her eyes filled with excitement.

As the gravity well faded heat vented out from the Valsion as it automatically took measures to cool down its generators had the battle gone on longer after that he would've been a sitting duck but instead the battle was won, but at least two new ones had begun. The Directory would not let the Valsion exist, especially not after it had killed Benton. He let out a deep breath as Luna approached him. As she spoke with enthusiasm and excitement he instead zoned out a bit as the adrenaline from the moment faded, the realization of what had just been set in motion dawned on him.

Had this been some grand strategy one could proclaim that the game had now truly begun and the pieces were in motion, or perhaps one could announce that the dominoes were falling. Nick instead opted to equal the beginning of this new era as the game board being set alight. No one involved would get out unscathed and a destructive force had just been introduced that many would try to stop.

When the Brasta's pilot introduced herself the Valsion's followed suit. Although the title certainly was an odd one as he distracted himself with wondering what this Luna had been a captain of and how she had ended up here of all places.

"Nick. Not a captain or former captain I'm afraid." He said with a smile.

Now appropriately cooled down the Valsion was once more able to move freely and as such it was turned towards the ship beginning to slowly move back.

"We should probably talk more on board of the Shinryu however, before any more Directory goons come to investigate."

"I doubt it.. I mean look at the carnage you caused!" Luna pointed at the destruction the Valsion caused. "I'm pretty they'll be peeing their pants for a week" Luna said as she tried to hold in a laugh.

"But sure...Let's go back.. My pizzas might be getting cold anyway.. Also I need to return Fatty's wallet" Luna said as she turned the Brasta towards the Shinryu and waited for Nick.

"Wanna play 20 questions on the way there?" Luna asked Nick

"Exactly because of that carnage I believe they will be investigating. The directory is not one to let such devastation go unanswered, doubly so once they learn that it was the Valsion that did so." he answered as the Valsion began its journey back to the ship.

Luna's remarks and mannerisms somewhat reminded Nick of those of a child but the voice was a young adult at least. The Valsion's pilot genuinely wondered how the fabulous ex-captain had been caught up in this for a moment before her wallet remark and following question came through.

"Fatty?" He paused for a moment, the request to 'play' was a peculiar one to him, but 20 questions seemed like something closer to a team building exercise.

"Uhm, okay." Nick finally said in a slightly confused tone.

"Alright!" Luna said as she made the Brasta follow the Valsion.

"Hmm..." Luna closed her eyes and started to think. In a few seconds she quickly opened her eyes with a smile.

"Alright Nicky! Ask away!" Luna said to Nick in an energetic tone as she moved the Brasta in front of the Valsion. Turned around to face it and continued her journey in reverse.

As the two traveled back Nick took to guessing what Luna could be thinking about. Suffice to say he would have no success as he asked the question 'is it edible' too late to ever hope to guess Pancakes and after this decisive defeat the Valsion was returned to its place in the hangar.

The mechanical crew quickly went to work inspecting the Nightmare of Terra Firma and its system logs. They were quick to ask its pilot if he felt any of the systems were performing inadequately or felt unstable in any way. The revolutionary explained to them that the machine performed perfectly fine, above estimation against such a force even.

With that done he got out of the engineering crowd and waited for Luna to exit the Brasta as it would be extremely rude to head to the bridge and report without her.

"I win!" Luna declared as she made the Brasta enter the hangar.

Before powering down the Brasta Luna decided to take a few selfies to celebrate her reunion with her mobile weapon. She hoped out of the cockpit and took 5 selfies each with a different pose. "Hashtag together again!" Luna said with a wide smile across her face.

"Oh.. Almost forgot.." Luna said putting her phone away and reaching into the Brasta's cockpit and powered the mobile weapon down. "Aaand done" Luna said standing up.

Just as Luna dropped down to the floor she noticed a man looking in her direction. She paused for a moment before walking up to the man.

'Howdy there stranger! So tell me you a stalker or molester? My money's on stalker" Luna said to the man poorly imitating a southern accent.
