Name: Kenneth Akeos
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Height: 5’ 11”
Weight: 154.16 lbs
Eye Color: Black
Hair Color: Dirty blonde
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Appearance: Fairly fit, but he’s not exactly in tip-top shape.

Other Information: No filter. Kenneth speaks his mind, being very blunt and straightforward, and he doesn’t really care who he pisses off. Thankfully, he hasn’t dissed anyone too important yet. He prefers the nickname “Ken” most of the time. Kenneth spends most of his spare time reading books of various genres.

Biography: Kenneth had a decent planetside childhood in Boston, enjoying the relative comforts of an upper middle-class family. His mother and father were supportive of him, and he did relatively fine in school. He displayed no unusual physical or mental properties, and stayed relatively nondescript through college. He earned a bachelor’s degree in aeronautic science, and found a job operating a transport aircraft moving raw materials from Africa to various regions of the world.

Things changed seemingly for the better when he was mysteriously contracted by the relatively unknown Eminent Corporation to transport a prototype machine to Russia for testing. Crossing over the Middle East, he was attacked by a machine, one that mysteriously appeared on radar and severely damaged the aircraft with repeated bombardments before disappearing.

Going down and under orders to save the machine, Kenneth did the only thing he could...and became the first pilot of the Virgola Unit 1. After that, his life was a blur: the intended pilot for the machine had mysteriously disappeared, with no adequate replacement immediately available. As such, he was temporarily contracted to pilot the machine in a military trial with the promise of appropriate reimbursement for his troubles. Quickly learning the basics of mobile weapon combat and dedicating several hours a day to improving his own skills, Kenneth ultimately performed admirably in the military trial. Despite this, the military chose to reject the Virgola as a mainstay machine in favor of the Riot C, a machine they saw as more powerful. Compounding this disappointment was the fact that he could not be fully paid for his troubles in money, though this pain was quickly washed away when it was revealed he would continue to be the pilot of the Virgola in return for a larger income. Spurred on, he continued to pilot the Virgola, eventually assisting in gathering data after the development of Unit 2 and 3. However, he still by far prefers Unit 1, having spent the most time learning how to control it.

Mobile Weapon: Virgola Unit 1

Affiliation: Directory-ish. Technically he’s being contracted, and not a member of the official military. The most accurate rank would be “Warrant Officer”.

Combat Style: Stinger
Strengths: Kenneth can lay down incredible amounts of accurate suppressive fire over extended periods of time, even against multiple enemies. He is good enough at long-range combat to stand a chance against sniper-types. His stamina is also good-he can stay awake and alert for up to twelve hours without rest, but after that his focus drops sharply.
Weaknesses: Kenneth is horrifically weak at melee combat and actually landing killing blows on an opponent.

Description:

History:
The Virgola was originally designed to be a fairly simple and versatile mass-production unit. Designed with decent generator output and simple trial weapons, it was assumed that once the unit reached mass-production the Eminent Corporation would design more weapons for use in the field. However, the machine was passed over in trials, unable to fly like the Huckebein Mk-IIM and too weak compared to the Riot C. Initially disappointed, the discovery of the Gunnery Carver along with a Sphere granted the “failed” machine a new lease of life, and so far 3 units have been developed for data-gathering purposes. Unit 1 uses a version of the Gunnery Carver designed for long range combat, equipped with a large beam cannon called the Ray Stray Turret. Unit 2’s Gunnery Carver has the Barley Scythe, a large beam blade. Unit 3’s carries the Jack Carver, a large solid blade. With these units and the Sphere, Eminent hopes to finally be placed on the map.
(Very important: Eminent is unaware that they possess a Sphere. All they know is that they have dimensional energy now.)
