The woman's eyes narrowed as the monster on the left slammed into a Gespenst, sending it hurtling through the air towards the Gesterben. She could easily dodge the damaged Gespenst, but the lack of recovery indicated the pilot had been stunned or rendered unconscious. Flicking the sword up and spinning it over the back of the White Demon, she fixed it to one of the magnetic hard-points. She slowed her flight, before bracing herself for the impact of the Gespenst. When the smaller Personal Trooper slammed into her palms, the woman activated the Tesla Drive in reverse, to help reduce the impact on the pilot she was catching. Sailing a dozen meters backwards, the White Demon slammed into the street and slid to a stop, before setting the damaged Gespenst to one side.

Damn monsters, using allies as weapons. I see that Aohara is using more of those extremely crazy attacks of hers. Lets see if I can analyze the battle footage that I've captured thus far.

With a swipe of her hands across the screen, Luca's eyes widened in shock. Instead of simply drawing up all of the recorded footage for the Gesterben, the system had hacked into all of the lowest level security feeds and camera displays. Narrowing the search to only hit the monsters, which she found were being labeled DAMONs, the woman drew up a 3-Dimensional picture of the three huge beasts. Their hides were composed of powerful material, and the beasts were capable of summoning energy from a different realm, according to the scanners.

Guess I just gotta do the worst thing imaginable...sail in at max speed and hit these bastards with everything the White Demon has!

Leaving the damaged Gespenst behind, Luca shot forward on a direct path towards the remaining DAMONs. Both of her Gesterben's hands were empty, but the pilot was ready to dodge and equip the appropriate weapon when the defensive strike from the dimensional monsters came.

The charging DAMON's fire would fade away as it was impaled in a method powerful enough to make Vlad Tepes jealous and as such would meet its defeat at the hands of the spear before landing as much as a hit on its target, the green material detonating within it and sending it back to where it came from with a bang and a last murderous roar.
The other two of its kind took notice of this and began a more close combat approach with the two Gespenst units, attempting to bash them with their horns as they rotated around the machines in an effort to put the Shadow Mirror units between them and the Orgone machine for the time being. This move did allow the Mixed Gespenst to strike its opponent with a punch to the side of its head, although absorbed by the D-fault it remained a solid hit on the DAMON however the ranged Gespenst had to turn itself and focus on defense rather than offense.

The last Gespenst that had been caught by Luca was already on the move again, heading back to its allies but tracking behind the Gesterben. It was homing in on its ranged compatriot, seemingly intent of relieving it of its close range troubles.

“Pesky beings…” Okuni noticed the patterns the DAMON were moving in, and pulled out Masamune, the adaptable orgone weapon. Orgone began forming around the hilt and extended in both directions, curving and shaping itself into a longbow of sorts. Another, narrow piece of Orgone was materialized in Amaterasu’s free hand, taking shape into a rod of sorts. Amaterasu slotted the rod into the bow, and slowly drew it back, drawing a bead on both the DAMON and Gespenst. If she could line it up properly, she would be able to pierce through both the Gespenst’s torso and the DAMON. The rod was pulled back to the maximum distance, and with a slow exhale, Okuni lined up the targets. Amaterasu loosed the rod and it catapulted out of the bow, piercing through all obstacles between it and the DAMON.

Luca noticed Aohara preparing a different attack, green energy building around her Lunarian Personal Trooper. The DAMONs were still focused around the charging Gespenst and the Samurai, which gave the White Demon the opening she needed. Pushing the engines further, the woman sent the Gesterben on a shifting route towards the retreating DAMON. It had tried to avoid her path on the way to the other monsters, but she hadn't failed to notice it.

“Aohara! I'll leave those to you!” Keying the net to speak briefly, the college student shifted her grip on the controls. The Gesterben responded, drawing the Blade Railgun in one motion. An ammo counter appeared on the screen, revealing she had a full magazine. Her gaze narrowed, as she shot towards the DAMON. Ensuring she could dodge any counter attack that came, the woman extended the chainsaw on the unorthodox weapon. Despite it's crude appearance, the weapon was a guaranteed monster...in the simulator.

The White Demon would attempt to close the remaining dozen meters to the DAMON, before ramming the chainsaw up and into the side of the huge monster. Pulling the trigger to activate the energy saw, the woman spun the Gesterben and yanked the weapon from the side, attempting to open a huge gash. If successful, the woman would complete the spin by shoving the saw deep into the rend and aiming the barrel of the railgun within. Dumping half of the bullets of her magazine into the monster, she would then retreat using a staggered maneuver, in order to dodge the ensuing chaos.

The Gespenst, occupied with the larger DAMON would be struck down by the orgone rod, the weapon passing clean through and digging itself deep into the head of the DAMON. The beast letting out a pained roar bordering on a gargle and with this sound came another one, for the first time there was a sound from one of the Gespensts. A comms channel had been opened, heavy static would fill it at first but slowly the channel stabilized, a distorted voice not too dissimilar from a man speaking while being held underwater came through.

"-le to continue fighting. Activating code ATA." Despite the newly created hole just underneath the voice was perfectly calm and with its one and final message sent the Gespenst would detonate outwards, tearing further into the almost defeated DAMON.

Meanwhile, the White Demon would show its superiority over the other DAMON, the chainsaw striking the otherworldly flesh of the beast, the sound of the beast combined with the cacophony of the railgun's rounds and now the explosion of the Gespenst would ring through the ears of anyone in the area.

Both the DAMONs, unable to take the continued beatings would return to wherever they came from, but in their place a new signal appeared. From the same direction the Gespensts had previously approached. A black Personal Trooper stepped forwards surveying the battlefield. One of Shadow Mirror's Nimbus units had made its appearance. Its gaze halted on the Amaterasu for a moment before turning to the Gesterben

The twin cannons on its back collapsing downwards. The prana laden energy from it heading towards the White Demon also the two remaining Gespensts also readied their weapons once more, one unit diving upon the Gesterben with its plasma stakes while the ranged unit turning its cannons back to the lunarian unit, twin energy beams going directly for the Orgone machine.

After the confirmed destruction of the two enemies, albeit disappointing with the destruction of the gespenst, the crystals composing the Orgone bow shattered, becoming nothing more than emerald green dust, circulating around the Amaterasu like a spiraling wind would. The Black machine turned its head to the range gespenst, now taking aim at it, the glistening red eyes of the Amaterasu giving off a chilling intent to kill. The jade glitter condensed around the front of the machine, intercepting the incoming energy beams. As the Orgone energy dissipated, the Amaterasu had already vanished from existence… for a brief moment.

It suddenly reappeared in front of the Gespenst, its right arm firming gripped on the newly-formed Orgone katana that rest on the Amaterasu’s hip. With a quick, lightning-fast motion, Amaterasu drew its place, and performed a horizontal strike aimed at the neck of the Gespenst, before following up with a second strike at the same spot to ensure the mech was cleanly decapitated.

Once the Gespenst had been taken care of, Amaterasu then turned its focus to the new Prana mech, whom’s attention was focused on the Gesterben.

As empty casings rained to the ground, Luca yanked back on her controls and shot away from the DAMON and Gespenst. The monster vanished in a flash of dimensional energy, as the girl tried to get a read on the remaining Personal Troopers. A new blip on the radar caused the woman's attention to shift, as a new entity made their entrance to the battlefield. Danger signs and alarms began appearing on the screen, as the new Black mech started charging an immense amount of energy. Two cannons dropped, aimed for the woman. Shifting the controls, the college-student prepared for evasive actions, targeting the instant the beam started. The glare created by the powerful energy would be enough cover for the Gesterben to close the distance.

PROXIMITY ALERT! DANGER!

Luca's eyes widened in shock as the forgotten enemy shot in from behind, raising its charged plasma stakes. It had been the Gespenst she'd tossed to one side, returned to complete its mission. Cursing her own luck, the woman thrust out with her rifle, twisting the blade to connect with the thrusting fist. The blade folded and shattered under the attack, before the woman opened fire with the remaining rounds in the magazine. Her goal was to completely disable the attacking arm. The perforated appendage slammed into the rifle, crumpling the barrel and turning it to scrap. In the same instant, a ripple of air and chill warned the pilot the worst had occurred.

Twisting the arm of the Gesterben, the Cold Metal Sword flashed through the air. It slammed into the side of the Gespenst, as the woman used her speed and desperation to shift both the enemy and blade in front of the Gesterben...and into the coursing trails of destruction shooting towards her. Cutting the the blade down into the ground, the woman activated the engines and shot to one side, as the beams slammed into the area she had occupied. The sword would buy her barely enough time, as the warning indicators stared blaring in response to the overwhelming heat. She shot to the side and slid to a stop, before staring at the scene in shock. Only a pole of metal remained, where her sword and the enemy had once occupied. Her gaze drifted to the Black Personal Trooper, with the glowing cannons. The Gesterben continued flashing warning symbols, weapons, armor, and energy symbols warning her about the danger of the current situation.

“This is the White Demon...Big Brother, are you active?” Her plea was met by silence, as the girl slumped into her seat. Her sweaty hands trembled on the controls, as she glared at the monster standing in front of her. This strange Mech, using strange energy, had completely shattered her expectations. Just like Aohara, the Directory's demon, and the other pilots, the girl was falling short of all of them. Her gaze drifted to the ammo counter, clicking the index button to see if anything else was available. A new list appeared, with hundreds of weapons and timers next to them. A voice spoke firmly, old and smug.

White Demon, Big Brother is watching. What's your next move?” Her eyes widened in shock, as all of the weapons turned amber, as they entered standby status.

To Aohara and the Nimbus, the Gesterben would drop its guard and raise one armored hand to point at the Nimbus. An open communication line activated, carrying the young woman's voice to all watching pilots and military.

“I dodged your best shot, Mysterious Stranger. Now, let me follow suit.”

The mech motioned as if it was shooting, which was followed by silence. Moments later, a crack would be heard from the sky. The Gesterben's engines activated, as the mech shot forward towards the Black Nimbus. The clouds overhead were punched apart, as a huge metal coffin shot down in a blaze of heat. The target was obvious; the question was if it would hit the Nimbus before the pilot could dodge.

In the skies above the battlefield... There was a sudden roar of engines as something vast rocketed overhead, scattering the clouds as it went. It was bright blue, its form sharp and clear even against the overcast sky, with red telltales winking along the edges of its broad wings. Aboard the bridge of the Hringhorni Class Hecatoncheires, Force-Commander Pendleton's jowls wobbled comically as the the G-forces of their acceleration rattled his command chair, as well as the entire bridge. His white-gloved right hand groped forward along the armrest, seeking the reassuring warmth of a cup of coffee... Only for him to notice, to his disappointment, that the cupholder had managed to dislodge itself - probably some three miles back.

"XO!" He managed to bark, craning his head to the left, where the form of his adjutant stood, seemingly not unnerved in the slightest by the occasional clattering of something else vital to their operations coming loose; "...Did we run all the safety checks before we left?"
"No sir, not enough time!" Said Onishi Kina brightly, giving a smile full of sharp teeth, causing the Force-Commander to bury his face in his hands with a groan;
"I was really hoping you wouldn't say that!"

Fortunately, the two's attention was caught by a sudden change to the viewscreen in front of them, showing a battle raging below. DAMON, unidentified units, Terra Sentinel friendlies, and what appeared to be a Lunarian machine exchanged fire below. Pendleton rubbed his chin, the constant vibration temporarily forgotten as he attempted to discern the nature of the situation. There had been no advance warning...

Was this, he wondered, a trap set by Hyperion?

"Force-Commander, we've detected Mobile Weapons... Friendlies and hostiles both. Looks like there's DAMON as well." Offered Kina, helpfully.
"More of them?" - Pendleton sank a little deeper into his seat, having seen more than enough of the monstrosities before they had left China - " ...We just can't catch a break, can we?"
"No, sir!"

Suddenly, however, he straightened, shaking a fist in fury at the screen, his features darkening. Now, he thought, was the time to assert command... And show Hyperion that a real leader didn't cower in the dark, but fight from the skies!

"Nrgh, not for long! We'll send those overgrown iguanas packing! Tell Price and Korppi to get out there! We'll circle the Heca around and give fire support!"
"Aye, sir! Commander Price, Captain Korppi, please launch and support our allied forces!"

The rear of the Hringhorni Class vessel began to open as it tilted in the air, allowing the machines within - the only two remaining of its original complement - passage.

Battle was rejoined... And Terra Sentinel, united.

Sigrid opened her eyes with a sigh when she heard the order, no rest for the fugitives. She quickly climbed inside Jaohm's cockpit, activating the Masouki once comfortably inside, the Prana Converter taking from her the necessary Prana to move the Mobile Weapon around. "Roger, heading out."

Jaohm's engines came to life, a blue light burning out of them as it flew out of the Hecatoncheires' rear. Sigrid floated in the sky as she took in the battlefield. Three hostiles, two of which were Gespensts. At least there weren't any Dino DAMONs. After her short moment Jaohm's thrusters brightened up again as she flew towards the Nimbus, keeping an eye out for any attacks headed her way.

The Gespenst that had become the target of Lunarian steel ducked as the Orgone Katana slashed, the two cannons on its back taken apart by the first slash and it rose back up with its arm based machine guns primed, yet the second slash was yet to come half of the Gespenst's head was cut off clean and it was clear this machine would not last long anymore. It took two steps forwards before falling towards the Amaterasu, in its last moments it attempted to take out the Lunarian mech with its detonation.

Then there was the Nimbus, as the Gesterben shot at it with its fingers it looked upwards to the skies even before the noise of the falling coffin could be heard. In reaction to the weapon falling the Nimbus dropped its rifle, exactly where the coffin was aimed and ran forwards with its thruster on, putting itself between the white demon and the coffin. It aimed its shield forwards, four missiles shooting out into various directions. One at the White Demon, another went for the Amaterasu and the last two headed straight for the front of the recently arrived battleship.

A voice originated from the Nimbus, its source hidden under many layers of distortion and identity protection but nevertheless beaming with excitement.
"An old trick, I love it! But you are now without a weapon."

The black mech drew the blade from its shield, it coated itself in a blue light as it approached its color inverted foe.

"And at this range your friends can't interfere, unless the Lunarian wishes to blast her ally into bits too."

The Nimbus slashed sideways in an attempt to cut a clear line across the Gesterben's waist, this was quickly followed by a forwards leap directing a downwards slash at the white mech's head.

Cassius was not far behind Sigrid but his attention was aimed at the two explosives heading towards the Heca. In his mind calculations ran to try and deduce the safest way to deal with them.
Firing the peak shooters at both to force a detonation? There were personnel below that could be harmed by structural damage to the base. Something else.
Directing the Heca away from the building? Loss of on field command center for the mission, let alone the battleship not having enough speed to run away.
During the moments of hesitation the turnails opened regardless, yet the Android remained indecisive on what course to take. So far he defaulted to his initial idea.

In a quick glance at the battlefield, Okuni could see that Luca was in a tight position with the newly appeared mech, along with the recently descended “coffin” that had crashed into the ground. With a quick judgement call, she turned her attention back to the enemy that remained in front of her. With the Gespenst’s last breath, it moved in closer to the Amaterasu, attempting a last ditch effort of some sort. A green cloud of Orgone created a wall between the two mechs, before Amaterasu quickly warped out of its position in space. The oncoming missiles mistakenly would collide with the Gespenst as it blew up into the Orgone.

Amaterasu reappeared behind the Nimbus, near the “coffin” that had fallen from the sky. With great heft, the black mech lifted up the coffin onto its shoulder, the joints and structure of the Amaterasu barely able to withstand the sheer weight of the thing, but it seemed like it would last long enough. With another cloud of Orgone, the Black mech vanished once again and reappeared before the Gesterben, slamming the coffin on the ground in front of it then turning to face the Nimbus.

“...Did you say something?” Okuni spoke to the mech across the ways, unsheathing its Orgone Katana and positioning in a ready stance between it and the Gesterben.

Luca's gaze narrowed in frustration, as the enemy Personal Trooper shifted its stance. The rifle was abandoned, with the opponent shooting forward in haste. The coffin slammed down moments later, throwing up the wall of dust that worked against the young pilot. Her gaze shifted from the heads-up display to the array of sensors arrayed in front of her. Her instincts screamed for the woman to shift her suicidal charge to one side, as a missile warning flared to life. The 3D Terrain Display showed the incoming warhead and the enemy Nimbus charging in from behind.

A voice broke the tense silence of the net, a response the college student hadn't anticipated. Her grip shifted, as the White Demon clenched one huge armored hand into a fist. The praise wasn't lost on the pilot, but the immediate warning came with an ominous follow-up. A blue energy appeared within the dust, as the Black Nimbus strolled forward through the drifting cloud. Luca didn't slow the engines of her Mech, instead shifting the thrust and balancing the weight to dodge the powerful missile that cut through the air. Her only goal was simple; on the arm she kept further back, was a final gamble. The clenched fist of the White Demon would be destroyed in the next clash, but it would hopefully save her life. The goal was simple: block the blade and crush it, before using 'that'.

But, a new warning appeared on her display; Energy Surge Imminent! The woman halted her charge and reversed the thrust, gritting her teeth as her entire body slammed forward in the cockpit. Only her arms and braced legs kept the girl from leaving her seat and slamming into the display in front of her. The samurai appeared, slamming the coffin into the ground the White Demon would've been passing through. A plethora of curse words and insults surfaced on her tongue, but Luca bit back her scathing tirade. It hadn't been intentional, the college student was sure. Aohara had deemed the White Demon incapable of exchanging blows with the mysterious Nimbus and shoved her way into the conflict. Albeit, the teleportation would've been messy had the mysterious warning not come moments prior. Ignoring the follow-up comments, the pilot turned her attention to the coffin in front of her.

The metal exterior split open with a simple console command, metal panel slamming into the ground with an audible boom. Three weapons extended from the now-exposed cache, a G-Revolver, Machine-Gun, and Railgun. The woman drew all three weapons with practiced speed, mounting the two larger weapons to points on the Gesterben and keeping the Revolver in its hand. The woman then thrust one of the White Demon's hands forward, slipping it through the metal lock in the side of the heavy panel. Magnets throughout the arm activated, slamming the metal panel in place on the White Demon's arm. A crude shield, composed simply of a large chunk of metal...but it would have to do. Stepping to one side of the Samurai, the woman angled the pistol towards the Nimbus and activated the comms link.

“So...who are you? And what faction do you serve?”

On the bridge of the Heca, an operator turned towards the Force Commander as an alarm blared on their monitor, stating bluntly as she did:

"Incoming missiles detected."

Never one to waste an opportunity for theatrics, Maxwell thrust a pudgy palm out, and barked out an immediate command, which was just as quickly snapped up by the Oni commandant, who seemed almost rooted to the spot even as the bridge tipped and turned:

"XO! Laser batteries, intercept!"
"Aye, Sir! Laser lenses, open! Fire at will!"

All across the surface of the Heca, panels slid back to reveal an array of cerulean lenses embedded in the aircraft. Each shuffled about gently within its confines, mounted atop some fashion of lever as it clicked and whirred, light gathering at its center. In mere moments, all gleamed at once - and in doing so, sent a wave of curving beams lancing through the air. With deft precision, the Nimbus would find its assault blown clear out of the air - and now subject to retaliation as the same lasers thundered from the sky, turning the are about it into a killing field as it pulverized the pavement below.

Sigrid stopped a short distance away from Nimbus and the mechs surrounding it, hovering a good distance above the ground. While hovering in place Jaohm's free hand snatched linear railgun from its resting place on the Masoukis skirt armor. She leveled it at the Nimbus, ready to shoot the moment if it attempted to escape.

Sigrid wasn't quite sure on the details of what was happening, but would support her allies regardless.

As the green wall came into being the Nimbus ceased its dash forwards, instead doing a short leap back out of the way of the Heca's bombardment and observing the orgone creation for a moment and then at all the weapons primed at it.

"Man, I was hoping for something fun out of this at least but the party pooper from the moon had to interject. Oh well, maybe some other day kid." the voice responded.

The last remaining enemy raised its shield, from where the explosives had previously appeared at the bottom of the protective item once again a flap opened and a similar cartridge fell out, landing at the feet of the Nimbus, smoke erupted from it moments later, concealing the already dark colored Nimbus in a shroud of the same hue, the smokescreen quickly expanding to envelop the entire street.

The smoke itself would have no adverse effect on any functions within the systems of any of the present mecha, as it seemed to quite simply be an attempt to escape from the overwhelming odds against it. How successful that would be however depended on how thoroughly the members of Terra Sentinel wished to give chase and in what manner they wished to do so.

In the skies above Cassius had the turnail primed to fire at the Nimbus, but the smokescreen would remove his line of vision on the unit. Unsure what to do the Kerberlion's gaze darted between the civilian area, the smoke filled streets and the base they had come to. Their commander had ordered him to support the units, but it was possible the enemy was heading into a civillian area and then there was confirming the state of the base itself.

Okuni peered through the smoke, trying to trace the movements of the fleeing Nimbus. While she wanted to pursue and finish off the enemy, She didn’t want to damage the surrounding anymore that was already done. Okuni took a look around at the crumbled buildings and damaged roads, and took the better judgement to hold back for today. She turned to look at the new Reinforcements, and took a deep breath. It seemed things were picking up, but this was far fetched from the proposed “instructor” position she was promised.
