Priscilla dove in head first into the flames as they soon began to dissipate, allowing for safer access. The Vysaga would begin to slash at every angle around the Jinrai, afterimages of each slash made could be seen as each slash only increased in speed. Soon it would launch itself out of the vortex of slashes it had made, skidding to a halt within the crater as it readied its sword for one more powerful slash.

"Secret Technique: Kojinsen!"

The Vysaga would dash in at the same time as the Granveil, slashing at the same time as Gideon, splitting the Jinrai into multiple pieces. She would leap out of the crater, flourishing the sword before sheathing it inside of the scabbard as the Jinrai exploded. It casted the Vysaga under a dark shadow, it's spiky head and shoulders, along with its cape would be the only silhouette visible of the special.

Priscilla would breathe a sigh of relief as the battle ended and sent another communication over to the Granveil, this time showing her face. "That was too close you know. Either way, I think I know why they were after you, deserter." She said to Gideon after having pieced it together from the dialogue of the Terra Sentinel grunts from earlier.

Gideon would bring up his video feed as well. He has a faceplate covering his mouth that would split and unfold to the sides of his face so he could be seen clearly.

"Finally picked that out huh? Yeah, I'll admit that I had to duck out of there because I wasn't about to associate with terrorists. I'm sure you can understand that. But hey! It was a helluva lot of fun." He would chuckle a little bit, showing off those pearly whites in a cheeky grin. "In any case, I'm here and open for any questions you might have. I owe that much, considering the fight we just went through." He said simply, his original german accent starting to peek through once more, though it was quite subdued.

"If you'd prefer speaking face to face however, I can oblige. By that I mean outside our mechs."

The Vysaga would turn around to face the Granveil. "I suppose that would be in order after saving me some hassle on my first sortie." She said as she made the Vysaga fly over to the Granveil, landing right next to it as it used its sword as a crutch before kneeling down. The cockpit hatch would open to reveal the pilot who was currently wearing some mostly practical clothing for the cold weather, a thick fur collared jacket along with some black gloves, dark blue pants and boots. A hand would come up to the cockpit hatch, Priscilla would step onto it before it lowered her down to the ground. She would simply wait for the other pilot to do the same.

The Granveil would follow suit. It would kneel down as a hatch on the chest opened. Peeking out was the pilot in question, Gideon. He would hop out and climb down the arm and part of the leg so he could face the Vysaga pilot properly. He was quite tall all things considered. And the suit he wore...it was odd, like some kind of exosuit. The cold didn't seen to bother him much at all.

"Alright, ask me your questions miss. I'm all ears." He spoke simply as he looked at her with a neutrail expression.

She would sigh at him calling her miss. This was... what the third time in a row? "For the last damn time, stop it with the formalities. It's annoying, really when guys like you try to do that with me." She would cross her arms before letting out a frosty sigh. "I'm Priscilla Hunt, and you are?" She wanted to get things over with quite quickly, the cold wasn't really doing them many favors at all right now.

After introducing herself, she would decide to ask her questions.

"So you ran because they changed their MO, that right? And I guess you ran away with..." She would look up at the mysterious Granveil. "Well, whatever this thing is. Some kind of... large insectoid?" She wasn't even quite sure what to call it, the design was unlike anything she's seen before on Earth and on the Moon. But it was clearly sculpted by human hands, or something remotely close to them.

"Alright alright, damn. No need to get all bothered by formality. My name is Gideon Stroeheim. And you are correct in your assumption. As for this..." He would look up and back at Granveil. "...This, from what I have gathered is a mech or machine. But...strangely not very mechanical. It's...hard to describe exactly. I had only come into possession of it about...well, a day at most. What I do know for certain is that it is called Granveil. And those abilities I used earlier...well, you may as well call them magic because it's unlike any normal armament I know. And well, I think one reason they were tracking me was...I uh...kinda detonated Yellowstone to get rid of an unknown that was fallow in me at high speed. I never got a good look at it though. All I knew is that it was gaining on me and I had the smart idea to dump nuclear ordinance in it to set it off and vaporize whatever was after me. That knocked me out, I woke up somewhere else, and this was waiting for me alongside of...some sorta spirit that inhabits this machine..mech...on occasion. It was that spirit that formed the giant pillar of rock on Yellowstone as it began to go up." He'd sigh, realizing how all this sounded like the delusions of a madman.

"But I doubt you'd believe that."

"Stroeheim... feel like I've heard that name before. Old family back on Luna, they were nice, heard their brat of a kid ran off before they died. That wouldn't happen to be you by any chance, would it?" She said with not much sensitivity on her part, but she didn't really care. It would just serve as another turn off for a potential suitor.

She would listen to the rest of his story. Now things made a lot more sense. "So wait... you tried to nuke one of the biggest super volcanos on Earth. Just to shake off one guy?" She would walk up to him before grabbing his collar, pulling him down to her height. "THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING!? Don't you realize how stupid that was? You could have caused a nuclear winter, and ash fall across Europe with a stunt like that." She was burning with rage at this guy's stupidity. Who the hell even nukes a volcano of any kind in the first place? He just had to do it to Yellowstone of all the volcanos.

"You'd have killed more than a few with that, not to mention the people fighting there would have had a harder time. You'd have made this STUPID war take even longer!" She would pull away one of her hands, forming it into a fist to punch him in rage but stopped herself before she could do so. She would let go of his collar before breathing deeply to calm herself. "Whatever, you're lucky to not be tried for something like that given how it never went through."

She would silently think to herself about the energy anomaly. So he was the one who caused it, and whatever this spirit involved with Granveil was, is the one of stopped the eruption and nuclear fallout. Who would have even thought such archaic weapons existed in a time like this. But that was besides the point. She's going to have a long mission report to write.

He seemed unfazed by any and all insults getting lobbed his way. Even the shouting barely did anything.

"Okay, first of all, I ran because I was done putting up with my family controlling my every action in everything I did. So, being called a brat isn'tthe first thing I'd say. Secondly, whatever this...thing was. It was moving a lot faster than any machine or fighter I've ever seen. And I've been at this for at least 20 years. Nothing flies that fast, so I didn't really have much of am option. On the bright side, there's a much nicer landmark there."

He'd look around a bit. His brow furrowed. Then, he shook his head a bit and looked back at her.

"Better to not worry about what could have been, right? Because that only leads to headache. So, Priscilla was it? It's been a pleasure to meet you thus far. If you have any more questions, go ahead and ask, I really haven't got anywhere else to go at present."

"Sounds like something a brat would do, you're not satisfied with what you had so you just decided to get more. Nothing more prideful and self righteous than that." She said, commenting on his choice to leave home. Why would he even want to? The Moon was practically perfect, what more could he have wanted?

"And I guess it's nice to meet you as well Gideon. Just don't go getting used to me saving your ass from your own mess." She would climb back onto the Vysaga's hand and sat there. "And now, I have no other questions. But if you're running, you should come with me. You'll be safer back in Moscow, especially given there's less of those death satellites hanging over us there." She would look up as the sun began to more brightly light up the blue skies above. "That or you can go home. It's not pretty at the moment, but it's not exactly the worst either." All she could think about was her family, she could only think of how she was the last one. She liked spending time alone, but she knew she couldn't lock herself away from reality forever.

She would then look back down at Gideon, a slightly tired look in her eyes. "Well, we should get going. The flight to Moscow's pretty long, and you don't exactly want to go a day without the soup on base." She said as she stood up and had the Vysaga bring her back up to the cockpit hatch. "I'll have the transport pick us up along the way, so don't worry about piloting the whole way."

She definitely seemed to be keeping her distance from him. She just wanted to get away as soon as possible really. The faster they send this guy off somewhere, the better off she'd be.

"Uh huh. Whatever you say " He'd wave it off as he'd climb back up the Granveil and into the cockpit, but not before stopping to look over at her.

"You're not too bad when you'renot screaming in my face. I like it." He would slide into the cockpit and get settled in, closing the hatch and powering up Granveil once more.

"In any case, lead the way and I'll follow. Oh and don't worry about losing me, I don't think I could be stealthy if I tried." He'd chuckle a little bit a's he waited for her to take off, at which he would then follow. This woman...he felt as if he'd seen her once before...back in his youth...Maybe that was just wishful thinking on his part. Either way, he didn't mind her that much once you get past the anger.

She would sit back down in her seat before starting up the Vysaga once again, flying off into the distance back to Russia. She knew this new war was only starting. For her, it would be a long and winding road. Even if she couldn't stand the nerve of this Gideon, she knew Endymion would need all the help it could get to fix the world back into a peaceful state. She sighed and decided to give him at least one act of kindness, a slight smile on her face as she did so. After all, it was against her true nature to be pouting for so long.

"Thanks, I appreciate it."
