It was a quiet night at the small Directory supply base, to the north of Lisburn. Humid, storming, it was a hell of night to be stationed outside, those poor chaps. Checking every car that entered or left, they left most of the work up to the scanners, each badge getting a pleasant beep to allow the visitors and staff through. It was an easy station, occasionally getting a shipment in to check before sending it on through to the ships hovering in the distance, or storing it away for further use. Magda was fairly unimpressed as she limped towards the main building, leaning on her cane as she mused over how simple it was to get in here. She was adorned in a standard uniform, hair tied back and a pair of horn rimmed glasses completing the disguise, frowning and grumpy, complaining to the guards about the weather as she walked in. "Just another beautiful day in the Emerald Isles, ja?" They chuckled together and waved her in, morons.
She heard about the stolen EOT in passing from an old Black Market contact, mentioning how the tech was "acquired" by some Directory goons and shuffled off to the Earth, immediately catching their attention. Rumor was that the tech was some kind of power source, incredible in it's output, and small enough to fit in a Mobile Weapon? Well she just had to get it back.

I know what you're looking for. Your evidence is in the coordinates I'm sending you. A Directory supply base. All I can say is that it's a stolen EOT. You'll know what to do with it once you get it.
This was all that was sent to him from an anonymous source. Pierce, obviously intrigued by the message, left for the base. He offered no explanation to the officers in charge of the base. He simply landed there in a supply shuttle and offloaded Grungust into the hangar.
"No one touch this except me." He ordered the mechanic staff.
Pierce then began his search. Using his hacking skills, he began perusing the inventory of this supply base. He accidentally bumps into Magda as he walks quickly to the main building. He looked over his shoulder.
"Sorry! I'm in a hurry." Pierce says. As he glanced at her, he felt something... strange. He shook it off as to not seem weird looking at her before walking off to the main building, still scrolling through the inventory, looking for anything out of the ordinary, from a misspelled item name to an item that does not belong in a military base at all. He still knew it should be in the main building, even if it isn't in the inventory database.

Magda was absolutely caught off guard by the man bumping into him, purposely stumbling with her cane to try and elicit a bit of sympathy. "Oh, yeah! All good sir!" She got a few looks from passing personnel, waving them off with a friendly smile. "Oh it's all good~" She continued down through the halls, curiously following him. As far as she knew, there wasn't supposed to be anything going on at this base besides some rations and shit. If this guy was in such a rush, he probably knew something.
"Excuse me, sir?" She limped after him, falling a bit behind but nonetheless calling to him. "You seem to be in a rush, I hope you aren't trying to get to the fresh stuff before the rest of your crew, are you?" Magda chuckled, grabbing a clipboard from a nearby table and checking through it. "Perhaps, I could assist?"

Pierce slowed down to allow Magda to catch up. Chuckling at the joke, he shook his head.
"No, no. I'm not trying to get to the fresh stuff." He said with a smile.
There is that feeling again. What is it?
Pierce thought as he walked along with Magda.
"I'm not really needing any help. I just pulled the short straw and was told to pick up something here." Pierce lied, chuckling. "Bastards back at base making me a glorified deliveryman." He continued.
All throughout talking to him, he kept getting this weird feeling that seemed to be coming from this woman.
"By the way, what's your name?" Pierce asks.

"Oh, Ensign Magda Marx, assigned here after I blew out my leg. Unfortunate incident with a PT Carrier." She sighed, limping alongside him. There's something up with this guy, and there had to be something she could do to use it to her advantage. "And hey, nothing more important than guys to do the heavy lifting with supplies nowadays."
She glanced across her own clipboard, a boring list of local sellers and farms. Sure, them they'll pay.
"Was that your Mobile Weapon out there?"

"The Grungust? Yeah. I was a test pilot for it before I was allowed to use it. Defended a city in Japan from DAMONs on the first outing. Kinda broke the elbows catching those charging bull type DAMONs." Pierce chuckles and scratches the back of his head at the last part.
"The name's Pierce, by the way. Pierce Rayer." Pierce adds, extending a hand for Magda to shake.
He shows no outward indication of the weird feeling he is getting. He simply gives a polite and friendly smile. His other hand holds the pad he was using to search the inventory. A few items with the title [CLASSIFIED] could be seen on the screen along with a button to open the contents of the items beside those titles.

She shifts her weight and her cane to switch hands, giving the pad a quick glance and smirking a bit. "Oh, you're here for the special deliveries, hmm? Vell now that's exciting."
Oh damn, he's here to collect it. Probably going to bring it up to that damn Air Christmas...
"Probably why they sent such an important pilot, a super robot after all..."
Maybe... It was only supposed to be delivered the other day, they shouldn't be ready to bring it up yet, could they?
"Strange though, I don't recall being told to expect a pickup." She only half lied.

"Our communications equipment was damaged in combat. That's why." Pierce lies.
Pierce raises an eyebrow at the comment earlier and closes the pad. His weird feeling is increasing and he momentarily looks away as it does, looking at the main building instead.
"I am unsure where what I'm looking for is, though, so I think I'm going to ask the higher ups in the main building. Sorry for disturbing you." Pierce says, looking back and giving a friendly smile. Right know, he thinks of her as a member of the staff but the feeling he is getting is telling something different. And he's going to have to find out more on her when he flies back to the Air Christmas.

"Oh, alright sir." She nods, giving him a polite nod and a quick salute. She readjusts herself on her cane, walking back to the warehouse. "I've got to make sure we've got enough grub to keep you going, so next time you want some fresh fruits, just give me a call~" And with that, she walks off, limping with her cane and humming. She was off to work, and she had to get it out of there before he realized what was going on.

Pierce smiled. "I'll keep that in mind." He says, heading to the main building and opening up the pad again.
As he enters the building, he goes up to the floor where the base's C.O. was. Soon he was met with the door. When the door slides open, he walks in. His face was serious.
"Lieutenant Max Burgs, I report to the General. I'm here to pick up the special package you guys have here. No time for chit chat, we need it now."
"I do not know what youre-" the C.O. begins.
"Enough with the secrets. I know you have it. I don't have time to show all my classified documents given to me by the Directory Higher Ups themselves, just let me have it and you will get a nice promotion."
Of course these were all lies, and the man was adamant on his claim of not knowing what he was talking about. Pierce sighed.
"Well, I guess I'll have to take it up with your superior." Pierce says before quickly neck chopping the man.
The man crumples to the floor and Pierce quickly starts hacking into the C.O.'s personal console. That should have the location of the EOT in there.
A few minutes passed and he had it.
"Alright, building seven tenth floor." Pierce says before starting to walk out.
The doors open and two guards walk in.
"Woah, guys." Pierce says with a sheepish smile, holding his tablet with both hands. Gesturing to the two with said tablet, he walks forward to them.
"I can explain-" Pierce stops short as he knocks both of them out and speedwalks out of the room so he doesn't raise many alarms. He was out of there but not in the clear as he went out of the main building and scrambled for building seven.

Magda was able to glimpse just enough from the clipboard to understand where she was going. Something of that size would only really fit in a large inspection room, and by playing the doting aid, learned from the workers where the latest shipment was.
It was a slow elevator ride up to the tenth floor, but it wasn’t too bad. She gave up the limp as she made for the store room, clutching it as she slammed the door open to see the crate- The size of her at least.
“...How did they get it up here.”

Footsteps echo outside the storeroom as Pierce was unknowingly right behind Magda. The quick footsteps got closer and closer to the storeroom.
"There it is." Pierce's voice sounds from the door.
As he rounds into the doorway, he lets out a statement without really taking in what all is there.
"There it is." Pierce let's out. He spots Magda.
"You." He looks at Magda with a cautious expression.

“Oh, you really aren’t supposed to be here, huh.” With a click, she twisted the handle on her cane, disengaging the two halves as she held her blade up to him.
“Don’t you just hate when your boss tells two people to do the same job?” She glared at him, thoroughly pissed at this point. “This is just embarrassing, for both of us.”

Pierce, strangely, smirks at this situation.
"You know, I knew something was off about you." Pierce says.
"And you're right. It's rather embarrassing." He jumps away from the blade, drawing his own knife from his waist and holding it in a reversed position in his hand.
"But I think I need it more than you." He adds, his expression a smirk but his body language showed a cautious aggression in its stance.

“Well then, why don’t... Wait. Okay, this is going to sound stupid but do we know we aren’t working for the same people?” Magda took a step back, lowering her blade and sheath slightly. “I mean this wouldn’t be the first time.”

"Then why don't you tell me who you're working for." Pierce replies with a cautious smirk.
Pierce's stance stayed the same. His senses screaming at him that something was off. And even stranger, the source of the feeling was the same as before: Magda.

"Let's say that I have some friends everywhere, and they're hoping to get this back." She took a step back, dragging her sword across her side and then quickly resheathing it. "I've got to say, if I was smarter, I'd have a more through plan for this." Magda grinned, winking at the soldier before screaming loudly and throwing herself against the crate.
"G-Guards! Help!" She screamed out, and two of the guards stationed outside rushed in, one already on the radio.

Pierce reacts quickly, throwing the knife at the radio in the guard's hand. Once thrown, he runs up and throws punches at the guards, aiming for weak points he knew to exploit. Within a few minutes, he disarms and knocks out the guards. Pierce pulls a gun from one of the guards' holsters and raises it at Magda, clicking off the safety. With his other hand, he reaches to something on his belt out of sight.
"Apologies, Magda, but I need this more. It could change a lot of things in the Directory. Most for the better." Pierce says, his expression now serious. "This crate is my evidence I need."
Pierce's eyes never left Magda. His pistol stays pointed straight at Magda. His other hand was still out of sight.

Oh, he would have had her if he had been any faster, but as he pulled that gun on her, she was already being dragged by an electric pallet jack, crashing through the legs of the tall shelves, sending them crashing down on Pierce and the prone guards. They would definitely be stuck, but the pilot would only be temporarily stopped.
“And it’s the tool my people need.” She cracked open the lid, fishing around and finding some kind of case, just dashing from the room.

Pierce forces his way out of the shelves. As Pierce follows Magda, he presses a button. A rumble of an explosion vibrates throughout the building. He keeps chase to Magda.
"What would you need it for anyways? It should have no concern to you." Pierce calls ahead to Magda. He didn't want to alert anyone with a gunshot in the building, so he simply follows her.
