History:

Labeled heretics and heathens by the Alliance Kingdom of Crescentia, the Colossi Immortalis is the remnant faction of the Giants and Angels from the great war two thousand years ago. Having been mostly hiding from the Crescentia government for the past millennia, they have recently made themselves known once more with the appearance of XN-L, mistaking her as one of their deity-gods.

Rather than following the words and wisdom of Aberon, the Creator-God of Crescentia, they instead follow the Giants, who became active and involved in the affairs of mankind. Seeing Aberon as a ‘false-deity’, due to his overall ‘absence’ from the world, they believed in the proof that laid in front of their eyes, even if the Giants weren’t the most trustful beings. That said, they are fervent and almost radical in their belief in their deities, believing that their servitude to them will grant them immortality once the believers of Aberon had been exterminated, and the Giants were able to fully exert their influence on the worlds. Whether the Giants will, or can fulfill that promise, they know not.

Their numbers are unknown, but it is believed there are several sleeper cells spread throughout the realm, within cities and in the wilds, nested like vermin, having bided their time in awaiting the fateful day when the Giants return.

In terms of known members, having come into recent knowledge, is the man known as Xifas Quo Dea, also known by his Earth alias, “Vayne Marvis.” A cunning and secretive man, he is the supposed current leader of Colossi Immortalis, who planned the attack and removal of the seal that Kusanagi had emplaced on the Giants. His motives and goals are unknown, but some are led to believe that he has plans other than simply reviving Kadum Hakam and his followers.

Before being sealed away, Kadum Hakam gave a gift of immortality to the Four Heavenly Generals of Colossi Immortalis, in expectations that one day they’d be able to break the seal and restore the Giants to power.

Biography:

One of the generals of the Giants Faction that fought during the Giant War two thousand years ago. Despite being a general he was one of the lesser known members of the faction and resultantly managed to survive the end and exodus with the others of Crescentia to Earth. For the long two-thousand years, he researched ways on restoring the Giants to their former glory, and eventually stumbled upon the Cult of Volkruss. He learned of the connection between the Deity trio and the Giants, and sought it fit to reset the cycle and bring back the giants through the death of the three gods. He entered the cult and bided his time, eventually becoming one of the cult’s elders, enough so to work closely with Lao Xin Feng and Tian Di, the Vessel of Volkruss. He became her caretaker and used his mind-altering abilities to subdue the young girl if she ever acted up or became rebellious. Despite his occasional usage of the method, the two were like grandfather and granddaughter, and he even began to grow attached to the young girl.

Perhaps seeking to knock two birds with one stone, he forged a plan to infiltrate the Perindor castle and remove the seal from Kusanagi, in an attempt to forcibly bring back the giants, and resultantly both resurrect his former masters, as well as save Tian Di from her horrible fate. This plan didn’t go accordingly as XN-L had intervened in forging a temporary seal, though Tian Di had been saved by some means, as Volkruss chose to consume Lao instead of her. While less than ideal, half his plan succeeded, and with the death of Volkruss, he was arguably one step closer to his goal.

Now, he has returned his focus to Crescentia and beginning to lead Colossi Immortalis once again, seeking to wage the war against Crescentia once more.

Biography:

One of the four generals of Colossi Immortalis, Tenka was a former student of the Saviour, Kusanagi, and one of his strongest. Kusanagi intended to make her his successor, but at some point during the Giant War, she had joined the side of the giants, and rose up to become one of the strongest warriors of their faction. She is one of the few Crescentians who are able to utilize Haki and pilot Shura-type machines effectively. Some believed she rivaled the Saviour in combat, though no match between the two was ever known. She received the nickname ‘Kamikaze’ as she stormed into the battlefield like a divine wind and tore through the enemy lines, leaving little standing in her wake.

History:
The creation of this unit is shrouded in mystery, as it never saw combat during the Giant War two thousand years ago. Xifas, a high ranking commander in the Giant’s army was given this unit by the Giants before the final battle to use as a means to one day restore the Giants should their downfall come. Its first appearance was seen during the fight against Volkruss at Luna during the Endgame Operation. It seemed to possess some kind of magic-like fighting capability, but the details are unknown.

-Crescent Moon Reflection「三日月反省」- Focusing one’s energy inward and building the concentration of Haki flow through the body, they achieve a trance-like state similar, yet different to the results achieved by Fuurinkazan. While in this state it becomes difficult for others to sense the user’s motives or intents, making their strikes harder to predict.

Known as the ‘Nightmare of Perindor’, Hyakka Ryouran saw widespread deployment during the Giant War, as one of the few that could hold its own against the five heroes, and slaughter any and all that were below them. It hadn’t appeared until midway through the war, possibly a countermeasure put out by the Giants, based on the designs of Kusanagi’s own machine.
