“Yes, let us stay our weapons for now.” Aberon spoke in agreement.

As he listened to Nashim speak, his face slowly shifted from that of a smile to that of disappointment. At the end, he couldn’t help but give a sigh and a shrug.

“...It seems mankind became quite troublesome in my absence…” Aberon placed his hand to his chin. And spoke to himself. “Though perhaps, that too is their potential.”

He then sighed at her next remark.

“Yes, I too am but a ‘tool’ of those who created me, should they still exist.” Aberon coughed. “Though I do intend on fulfilling my purpose, one way or another.”

Strange, were the beings beyond humans. Va’sentaph thought to herself. From calm to at each other’s necks to calm once more, it was almost nonsensical.

Aberon listened to the Goddess give her spiel. Like a mother scolding her child, the roles were oddly switched around in this instance. Nonetheless, he couldn’t help but frown at her remarks and ‘warnings’.

“Quite honestly, it seems I can’t drive my point through to my creations.” He looked down at the Goddess. “You see, that’s the problem. The Giants weren’t meant to guide the humans. I did not create them with that purpose. They were supposed to be naught but simple observers.” Her tone was... unpleasant at this point, a mere creation talking down on its own creator.

“It seems the Giants influenced things more than I had thought, considering this chain of events you describe though.” He is tone grew serious. “And you won’t use such a tone with me, puppet. As I’m sure you’re already aware, this universe is doomed already without my ‘arrogance’ you speak of. The bomb is already ticking down, I’m merely trying to cut the wires.”

He took a breath.

“As I’ve said before, I don’t play favorites. Every creation is given a purpose, with I providing the means to fulfill said purpose, and I expect them to execute said purpose. Free will was merely a means given to them in order to one day combat Kali Yuga. Your purpose was to fight against the Giants; I would like to say that you fulfilled your task, though as seen by the poor man slaving his soul away to keep the Giants in shackles, well, I will let you solve that one yourself.” He smiled. “Considering your vessel seems to be at her ‘limit’, it will be plenty of time for you to think it over.”

He then turned to the ‘Zelvoid’, its form prostrating and shameful to those watching, and descended down to it. “Despite his foolish demeanor, he is still useful to me, I would appreciate it if you quelled your voice.”

Aberon pressed his hand to the machine’s head and began exerting his divine essence into it.

“I may be weakened, but I am not so blind to not see beyond such meager glamours. Even I can recognize a piece of me within you.”

As Aberon touched the machine, it began to glow immensely; Aberon beginning to force the sphere to react. Perhaps it was the sphere simply recognizing the ‘man’ as its origin, but nonetheless, it reacted to him. By all means, Aberon met the conditions for using the sphere to its full potential, even if he weren’t the current wielder of it.

“Regardless though, I have no qualms from you hiding your true form from me, nor do I care why you are hiding.”

He turned to Nashim and spoke solemnly. “An imposter he may be, useless he is not. I will ask again that you cease your tone at this time.” He then shifted to a smile once more. “Now, I must not be wasting anymore time here. I got what I needed from this discussion, so we shall be on our way.”
