"Well, this has all rather quickly turned to shit." Roman thought to himself as his heart recovered from not only the surprise attack by the Wendigo but also being used as a shield by it. Turns out the weather was out to get them instead of help. The shriek above, that very same one he had unleashed earlier just made things that much worse.

The blonde sighed, off all the places to fail it had to be the frozen wastes of Russia, his hand went over his console his comms opening for a last message to be sent over to Anthony. Luckily his comms systems had gone undamaged.

"No getting out of this one. You know the drill." Roman said, the Bioroid however was quick to respond.

"Sorry but no ATA units were supplied."

"Excuse me what. Why are you just telling me this now?"

Roman's hand went through his hair, of course the one time he needed it they didn't add ATA. If they somehow got out of this whole mess alive the mechanics were not going to hear the end of it.

"Whatever. Just get out of here."

As Roman lamented the lack of an easy out Anthony had followed through with standard procedure, the collected data about the train, the Wendigo existing and everything else that transpired in the failure of a mission was being sent out to home base. It would be the only benefit to come out of it for their organization as a whole. With that done his Guarlion let go of the assault blade, the Bioroid within it intent of using his boost charge to escape.

The human however, lacking both his Boost Drive and ATA all while in the grip of the Wendigo had no fleeting hope for escape. On his end it was either a swift end or perhaps the enemy putting more value in the info he could offer over making a message out of his death. It all depended on if one preferred life over death.

"Not so fast, Tovarisch."

Around the two of them, there was the sound of fluttering thruster jets as the sharply contoured forms of several cobalt-colored Lion Vs, a regional Directory favorite, made themselves known in ones and twos... Until an entire platoon, easily numbering ten machines, had surrounded the Shadow Mirror operatives - their railguns trained directly on their person.

The Wendigo, for its part... Remained mostly motionless, simply keeping the Guarlion in its grip as it rested its fingers on the cockpit hatch, threateningly, as steam wafted from about its face. Ivan's voice crackled over the loudspeaker, presumably after he was done speaking with the forces that had just arrived:

"You even think of bolting... and I'll have the Wendigo rip your friend's head off."

As if to emphasize his point, the Wendigo's fingertips pressed into the metal of the Guarlion's armor, tearing it slightly as its fingers began to contract, threateningly.

"Exit your Armored Modules, hands up. This little derailment... Is over."

Anthony's Guarlion hung in the air for a second as the Bioroid calculated the odds of escape. He found it outside of acceptable parameters and as such the Armored Module slowly landed on the ground.

Roman in the meanwhile sighed, he reasoned this is what he got for going in without a real plan. Even though it had worked every time so far. Well, for one it didn't look like Ivan planned to have them killed, otherwise he would've been turned into the same red goo as he made that Huckebein pilot into. He got out of the pilot chair and turned off the unit as he moved to the back of the cockpit, pushing the hatch on the unit's back open.

The snow and wind eagerly moved into this new room as Roman stepped outside, not bothering to close the hatch behind him. He had at least taken the time to cover his pilot suit with the coat he wore on the truck ride here to at least try and stave off the cold. He deftly climbed up the head of the Guarlion, sitting at its peak seemingly unimpacted by the cold as the elements bashed into him. In truth he was really cold, uncomfortably so but the dirty blonde wasn't about to drop face. He gave the Wendigo a glare before raising his arms.

Anthony however wasn't occupied with wanting to look cool and simply stood in the opening of his cockpit with arms raised, his Guarlion also turned off. In contrast to the human he had not put the coat on, and was actually unbothered by the cold.
