Appearance: A youth that wears a white denim jacket over a black muscle shirt. Wears blue jeans, with white and red sneakers. Wears a necklace which holds a pearl or jewel of sorts inside a locket. When he uses his powers, markings of various colors appear on his body.

The name was used to refer to him after he was found in a crater caused by a shining meteor which had fallen from the sky. He was discovered by a high school girl named Chizuru Yagami who gave him the name. Among other nicknames, he turned down "Ryusei", as he thought the idea of being called a meteor was a bit too far given the circumstances. He seems to understand Japanese and English, and may potentially understand other languages, though this remains to be tested. At times, displays an aura of confidence and arrogance, playfully, casually, and confidently displaying his impressive physical attributes. Occasionally yells angrily when he doesn’t get something right the first time. Loves novel foods, such as pizza, hamburgers, strawberry sundaes, and hot dogs, seemingly eating them to no end without negative consequences. Is mostly indifferent to the plights of other people, only relishing in battle for the thrill of battle. Dislikes lectures.
Biography: Was found charred and lacking clothing by Chizuru near the crash site of a meteor in a field due to mysterious circumstances which even he does not know, or care to disclose. To this end, he takes advantage of Chizuru's sympathy towards his alleged assault by monsters, which she assumes to be the case despite Asuka not confirming nor denying that to be so. He spends his time living in her home as she looks for her father, seemingly lost in the chaos around the time of Asuka's appearance. At some point, he acquires a red Gespenst, which while ordinarily a fairly simple mech is made incredibly versatile and agile through Asuka's own customizations, the extent of which he has yet to disclose.
While unsympathetic to the plights of other people, Chizuru's determination to help others begins to awaken a greater sense of awareness and responsibility regarding his fellow man. While he seeks to gain answers regarding his mysterious past, he acts as an independent mercenary, fighting for whichever force gives him money while he beats up dimensional beasts. For his own sake, he keeps whatever he does remember about himself a secret, though he may be the key to answering some mysteries regarding the goings on with the Earth.
Mobile Weapon: Dark Red and Black Gespenst Custom “YOUNGBLOOD”, unequipped with any weapons save for its fists. Personally stripped of any "unnecessary" armaments by Asuka himself.
